Description	Over the last year the Novosibirsk Student Chapter has sent participants to a national conference for young semiconductor physicists in St. Petersburg, to a Siberian Electron Devices and Materials student conference in Tomsk, and to an IEEE student branch congress in Cairo, Egypt. Each July they assist in organizing the Siberian Russian Workshop on Electron Devices and Materials. In 2003 they will focus on a Solid-State Circuits session of the workshop. In 2002 they hosted the 2nd IEEE Siberian Russian Chapter Chairs meeting and two technical presentations on microsystem technology and problems in electronics instrument engineering.
