| Abstract | Crustal plate motion data are presented with respect to each of the three Deep Space Network sites, Goldstone, Madrid and Canberra, based on a plate motion model. The technique of very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) is examined and its capabilities are discussed. The estimated crustal movement predicted by the model is compared with apparent movement measured by a transportable BLBI system across a plate boundary in Southern California. |
