| Description | Momentum transfer from high velocity nitrogen gas flow to liquid-nitrogen jets was investigated. A correlation of aerodynamic and liquid-surface forces with characteristic drop diameter was obtained for cryogenic liquid-jet breakup in Mach 1 gas flow. Nitrogen gas mass-flux was varied by using three differently sized two-fluid fuel atomizers with different nozzle diameters. |
