| Description | The effect of the external wind on the quality of the flow in the test section was studied. The flow quality achievable with the complex treatment as well as that with the planned minimum treatment system is discussed. A scale model coupled with on site wind measurements demonstrated that the minimum treatment selected can provide adequate testing capabilities in the presence of the prevailing local winds, and that test programs will not be significantly affected by adverse wind effects on the test section flow quality. |
