The approach evolved over the past several years, and is believed to have significant advantages for display evaluation. The foundations of the methodology are briefly described, and results are presented of its application to the analysis of vertical situation displays for STOL approach. This analysis includes the effects of both status and command displays on pilot workload and system performance. |
