| Description | When solar heat is absorbed through the structural support member it is fed directly to a heat pipe. Energy is transferred by heat pipe around to a cooler spot before it can find its way to the structure. This prevents local hot spots from occurring on the sun side and excessive heat leaks on the dark side. |
