| Abstract | IgA nephropathy is a condition characterized by deposition of IgA immunoglobulin in the glomerulus. This condition is fairly common in Western countries. The disease spectrum is broad and it varies case to case. The cases of IgA nephropathy associated with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis are rare. Our case report is about a young male who developed rapid onset IgA nephropathy leading to end stage renal disease (ESRD). |
