| Abstract | Dentigerous cyst is a development odontogenic cyst, whichapparently develops by accumulation of fluid betweenreduced enamel epithelium and the tooth crown of anunerupted tooth. It is one of the most prevalent types ofodontogenic cysts associated with an erupted, developingor impacted tooth, particularly the mandibular 3rd molars,the other teeth that are commonly affected are maxillarycanines and third molars. The present case report describesthe surgical enucleation of a dentigerous cyst involvingpermanent lateral incisor, the surgery was followed by oralrehabilitation. |
