Abstract	In the title compound, C14H12N2O3, the essentially planar pyrrole ring [maximum deviation = 0.037 (4) Å] and the benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 69.5 (2)°. In the crystal, intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect molecules into chains along [001]. Additional stabilization is provided by weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
