Abstract	In the title complex, [Cu(NO3)2(C10H8N2S)4], the CuII atom (site symmetry ) is coordinated by two monodentate nitrate ions and two monodentate di-4-pyridylsulfane ligands, resulting in a slightly distorted trans-arranged CuO2N4 octahedral geometry. Intramolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds are present. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked via C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds into chains parallel to the a axis. Intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions also occur.
