| Abstract | Tässä työssä kartoitetaan Tamro Suomen siirtymistä Windows 7 -käyttöjärjestelmään Windows XP:stä. Työn menetelmänä on käytetty konstruktiivista menetelmää. Työssä tutkitaan Windows 7 -käyttöjärjestelmän käyttöönottoa ja siirtymistä uuteen Office 2010 -ohjelmistoon. Opinnäytetyössä keskityttiin selvittämään erityisesti Windows 7 –käyttöjärjestelmän toimivuutta. Käyttöjärjestelmää testattiin Tamron yritysympäristössä. Windows 7:stä oli testattavana sen ominaisuudet, uuden käyttöjärjestelmän hyödyt yleisesti ja hyödyt järjestelmänvalvojille. Työssä kartoitettiin myös mahdolliset ongelmat. Opinnäytetyössä selvitettiin myös Windows 7:n edellyttämät laitevaatimukset ja toimivuus Tamro-ympäristössä. Uuden käyttöjärjestelmän lisäksi kartoitettiin uuden Microsoft Office 2010 – ohjelmistopaketin ominaisuuksia verrattuna vanhaan Office 2003 – ohjelmistopakettiin. Uusi Office-ohjelmisto otetaan käyttöön ennen Windows 7 -käyttöjärjestelmää. Opinnäytetyön tuloksena tuotettiin niin kutsuttu asennus-levykuva Tamro Suomelle. Tällä asennus-levykuvalla asennetaan ohjelmistot koneelle nopeasti ja vaivattomasti.This thesis analyzes how Tamro Finland will transition from using the Windows XP to the Windows 7 operating system. The constructive method has been used in the project: a review of the Windows 7 Operating System and transferring to the new Office 2010 software package. In this thesis the focus was on studying the functionality of the Windows 7 Operating system and testing it in the Tamro corporate environment. The Windows 7 testing contained its qualities, the possible gains generally and for administrators and what problems were encountered. Also included was a checkup on Windows 7 system requirements and workability in the Tamro-environment. In addition to the new operating system there is a short review of the Microsoft Office 2010 software package compared to old Office 2003. The new Office 2010 will be introduced slightly before the Windows 7 Operating system. The result of this thesis is the so called deployment image for Tamro Finland. With this deployment image, Service Desk can install a desktop or laptop quick and easy for the user |
