| Abstract | When the car parked in the hot outdoors, the temperature in the car will be very hot and stuffy, while to obtain favorable conditions, it takes quite a time after the car and the air conditioning is turned ON, that caused discomfort condition. The research purpose to implement the car air conditioner system remotely. Implementation tool uses radio frequency, includes a transmitter on remote control, the receiver in the car,and microcontroller ATMEGA 8535 as a driver relay for the car starter and AC. Data were collected by an experimental test at the engine stand by turn ON the starterand AC system usea remote control from the distance 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 meters respectively with no barrier and with the glass, doors and wallsbarrier. The data analysis method use non-parametric statistical test or the Cochran Q test and processed using SPSS. Results showed that without the barrier, the value of Q=16, with a glass, doors and wallsbarrier, each Q value 20, while the tables Q = 9.49. Q count > Q table, that meansthe AC can be switched ON with no barrier or with the barrier of glass, doors and walls as far as 45 meters maximum |
