| Abstract | waLLen a. aUZUK1 The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence electronics technicians to participate in work-related training and to explain the relationships among those factors. Based on Steers and Rhodes ' Employees Attendance Process Model, the subjects ' willingness to participate in work-related training was regarded as an indicator of actual participation. The factor of willingness to participate was, in turn, predicted by four factors: job satisfaction, values and internal expectations, external expectations, and personal characteristics. To predict subjects ' training participation, this model also suggested another path from personal characteristics through attendance ability toward the actual training participation. A causal model was presented to indicate these relationships. Questionnaires were mailed to 130 randomly selected' |
