| Abstract | We analyze the performance of ExOR (Extremely Opportunistic Routing), a multi-receiver diversity based routing scheme for wireless networks. This scheme takes advantage of the broadcast nature of wireless transmissions to increase the throughput of multi-hop wireless networks over schemes that use a predefined route. We consider two models for the overhead associated with the feedback mechanism that is required in any diversity based scheme to avoid duplicate transmissions. We compute the throughput of ExOR under these feedback models and investigate the effect of batch size on its performance. I. |
