| Abstract | We present a new, fast and efficient method for image registration. Our approach applies a novel similarity function on the image locations which have high gradient magnitidues. The similarity function secures a fast convergence. We apply our technique to the task of affine registration of 2D images which undergo large rigid motion and show good results. |
