| Abstract | W ith the transition under way from IPv4 toIPv6, some countries (including China)are establishing large-scale native IPv6 backbone networks. Among the significant chal-lenges in such efforts is the need to support large numbers of IPv4-based Internet applications and services across these native IPv6 backbones.
