| Abstract | The quest for useful information on the World Wide Web is in many cases tedious and time consuming. Intelligent agents have become common in information searching and have proven to help users to find what they need on the Web. This report presents a system which automat-ically presents new, relevant Web pages to its users based on each user’s personalised usage pattern. The article describes the theory behind the intelligent agent called Exquiro, how it works and its implementation. The article concentrates on important parts of the theory behind it rather than experiments. An overview of Exquiro and a presentation of the individual parts of the system and how they interact with each other is presented and discussed. The article also addresses some of the issues known to be improvable. |
