| Description | Chinese calligraphy is pictographic and each calligraphist has his own writing style. People often feel difficult in writing a demanded beautiful calligraphy style. In order to help people enjoy the art of calligraphy and learn how it is written step-by-step we present a new approach to animate its writing process by 3-D visualization method. In this paper some novel algorithms used in the approach are presented to solve the following problems: 1) estimate varied stroke's thickness 2) extract strokes order from an offline Chinese calligraphic writing.
