| Abstract | Abstract. In emerging computing paradigms, such as mobile information systems, there is a strong relation between the system requirements and location. The system may operate in various locations and location can be a main factor in deciding the requirements to meet and the way to meet them. In this paper, we propose a goal-oriented requirements engineering approach to model and analyze location-based requirements. We propose a set of modelling constructs to represent location, show how to capture location-based requirements via location-based goal model, and present a set of analysis and reasoning techniques about the formalized models. |
