| Abstract | Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the world and the most common cause of cancer death in women. Treatment of breast cancer is currently effective only if it is detect at an early stage. X-ray mammography is the most effective method for early detection.In this paper authors have propose Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) System for breast cancer using mammography images. Moreover,authors have present and measure efficient texture features extraction for mammography images. The proposed CAD system classify the breast tissue benign or malignant based on statistical features of a mammogram are extracted using simple image processing techniques. The aim of this paper is develop efficient breast cancer CAD system that help a radiologist to detect a normal breast from a cancer affected breast. |
