These are development of a macro planning frame, assessment of institutional capacity, project financing, phasing of activities in project execution, support activities, and replication and monitoring. The lst Colombian cassava development project is discussed regarding socioeconomic characteristics of the region, the screening process for site selection, advances to date, and potential economic benefits.
