| Abstract | We introduce two variants of $q$-hypergeometric equation. We obtain several explicit solutions of variants of $q$-hypergeometric equation. We show that a variant of $q$-hypergeometric equation can be obtained by a restriction of $q$-Appell equation of two variables. |
