ILM VFX: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Content Provider ACM Digital Library
Author Segura-Bowers, Brent Knoll, John Edwards, Gareth
Abstract Join ILM for a journey back to a galaxy far, far away and dive deep into the visual effects of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". The reel showcases the effects work that helped Gareth Edwards bring his vision for the film to life. A deft combination of invisible effects, digital extension, character animation, cutting-edge digital human work, and completely synthetic yet photorealistic environments comes together seamlessly in this tale of rebellion.
