| Abstract | We are delighted to welcome you to the 9th ACM Conference on Creativity and Cognition (C&C 2013) in Sydney, Australia. In keeping with the tradition of C&C 2013 conferences, we present you with a program of cutting-edge research that features a strong academic program, alongside art exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, a graduate student symposium as well as a musical concert. C&C is by nature a multidisciplinary conference, therefore attracting academia and professionals from across a wide spectrum of interests and disciplines including cognitive science, computer science, design, arts, musics, education and psychology. The main goal of C&C series aim to stimulate discussion where individuals can interact with others from different domains to explore and share a variety of information, insights and ideas about the human capacity to creatively solve problems and produce novel and valuable artifacts in their context and culture. During June 2013 many events coincided for Sydney - along with the holding of C&C 2013 conference, various conference series such as Vivid Festival of Arts, International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA 2013), International Conference on Computational Creativity will complement the festive of the C&C 2013 this time around. For 2013 the conference theme is Intersections and Interactions, due to the inter-disciplinarity that is inherent in the study of creativity and cognition. Interaction design is now one of the most vibrant areas of interest in modern society and is amongst the fastest growing industries in the world. It has now expanded from its original definition of human-computer interactions to be human-to-human and computer-to-computer interactions. C&C 2013 brought together leading researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present their innovative work and discuss all aspects and challenges of interactive and creative technology, in an exciting and stimulating environment. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
