Impact of graphics on end-users

Content Provider ACM Digital Library
Author Davies, Kathryn
Abstract Graphics in system documentation are important elements for ensuring that the end-user will actually turn pages and continue using the material that you have produced. Graphic design is a crucial factor for providing a document with eye-appeal and readability, and contributes significantly to the user's impression of the quality of the documentation. This paper will discuss the various types of graphics that CSG uses and our rationale for using particular graphics in certain situations. The focus will be on manuals and product descriptions.

NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources.
