| Abstract | It is our pleasure to welcome you to Scottsdale, Arizona and the 2010 International Conference on Compilers, Architecture, and Synthesis for Embedded Systems. Again this year, the conference is part of the Embedded Systems Week 2010, and is jointly held with EMSOFT and CODES+ISSS. We believe the co-location of these three conferences provides a unique opportunity to learn about developments in all aspects of the embedded community. We encourage everyone to take advantage of some of the 6 tutorials and 8 workshops offered during ESWEEK! This year, we received a total of 57 very high-quality submissions. It was exciting to see papers submitted from around the globe -- making this a truly international conference -- from academia and industry, and across a wide range of topics. Our Program Committee consisted of 45 outstanding researchers and practitioners. In addition to the committee members, the committee recruited over 50 additional reviewers. And they worked hard: submissions received an average of 5 reviews. On June 13th, the committee met in Anaheim to make the final paper selections, and the quality and quantity of the reviews made the decision process much easier. We are honored to have Prof. John Hennessey for the keynote address discussing the future of computing ("The Future of Computing from Phones to Warehouses: It's a New Day"). We are also excited to have two special sessions as part of CASES. The first, organized by Vincent Mooney, is "Embedded Systems for Future Medical Care". We will have three experts discuss the challenges they face in bringing embedded technology to the medical field. In the second session, we're honored to have a lecture from Dr Krishna Palem, this year's recipient of the W. Wallace McDowell Award from the IEEE Computer Society for his contributions to Embedded Computing. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

NDLI is a conglomeration of freely available or institutionally contributed or donated or publisher managed contents. Almost all these contents are hosted and accessed from respective sources. The responsibility for authenticity, relevance, completeness, accuracy, reliability and suitability of these contents rests with the respective organization and NDLI has no responsibility or liability for these. Every effort is made to keep the NDLI portal up and running smoothly unless there are some unavoidable technical issues.
Ministry of Education, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), has sponsored and funded the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) project.
