Abstract	Recently, the increasing of network node by appearing the home network and discounting of PC, and the matters for security complicate the computer based network such as the Internet, which conceales it by IP. In this paper, we propose STARCast (Streaming Transit AnywheRe broadCasts) system with which existing networks are overlaid. It provides steaming service without depending on the underlying network environment such as NAT, firewall and IPv6. STARCast adaptively changes their transport protocols to conceal different underlying networks at home, company, and manages routing in order to minimize the number of multi-hops on the route. It provides the service on heterogeneous networks in the manner of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) by using the Resource Management and the Streaming Relay mechanisms realized by a peer and evaluate it. And we try to interconnect current streaming systems, i-Visto system and DVTS as an example of application by the STARCast technology in this paper. The fusion of these technologies and current network technology will play significant role of next generation network system and streaming system which has the mechanism of "secured" and "grouping".
