Abstract	Welcome to the 10th European Conference on Visual Media Production CVMP 2013. Once more Leicester Square in London is the site for this unique gathering of academics and media production experts to explore common interests in the visual creative engineering sector. Since 2003 the event has grown from strength to strength, mirroring the evolution of the broadcast and film production industry in its strong line up of speakers. This year we have a 50% acceptance rate of papers and again we have a healthy mix of industry and academic research papers and demonstrations. We are rightly proud of the quality of our contributed programme, and extend our thanks to the international programme committee. Once more CVMP is in-cooperation with ACM, (ACMSIGGRAPH and SIGMM) and the proceedings will appear in the ACM Digital Library.
