Abstract	With the introduction of the mobile TV format « DVB-H » (Digital Video Broadcasting -- Handheld) in Europe -- and notably in France this year --, the combination between mobile telephony and television promises to turn into a success story soon. With enormous investments, access providers and audiovisual media are betting on the new technology to override technical barriers which still seem to retard the evolution. The study presented contributes to a reflection on future uses of mobile TV by considering the appropriation of an existing service. Over a three months period, users were accompanied through interviews and an experience sampling method.
