| Abstract | Welcome to the second international workshop on Agent-Oriented Software Engineering Challenges for Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing AUPC'08 hosted by the ICPS'08 conference in Sorrento, Italy. The mission of this workshop is to present contributions on Ubiquitous and Pervasive computing issues and to identify new directions for future research and development. It gives researchers and practitioners the opportunity to share their ideas and perspectives with others interested in the various aspects of Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing. The final workshop program offers a wide range view of research issues dealing with ubiquitous computing, pervasive computing, agent-based systems, middleware and service discovery systems. A total of 8 papers were submitted, from which 6 papers have been accepted. |
