NDLI: Researc and Simulation Analysis of Prediction Control for UAV Collision Avoidance

Abstract	To realize operation in the whole airspace, UAV must solve the problem of collision avoidance by themselves. The problem in realizing collision avoidance lies in predicting the future trend of the threat accurately and performing maneuver control. To solve this problem, a UAV collision avoidance control method is proposed based on predictive control. The UAV's motion model is established. According to the motion state of mobile threats and UAV, An adaptive interactive multi-mode algorithm is used to build a bidirectional prediction model based on Receding Horizon Control. The objective function is constructed to calculate the optimal real-time maneuver control input and realize collision avoidance. Simulation is conducted and the results are compared with previous methods, it shows that the proposed method can predict the threat motion state better and improve the success rate of collision avoidance.
