| Abstract | Data flow computers have traditionally been limited to research centers with large budgets. In this article, we present the SAS (Simple Arithmetic SISAL) environment which provides a low cost data flow platform from which to teach and perform research. This environment simulates real hardware - the U. Lowell Data Flow Imaging Co-processor Board - which allows users to develop code for the simulator and then port it to an actual machine. |
