| Claim | A laser scanner comprising: a light source unit (23) for emitting a pulsed laser as a distance measuring light (26), a light receiving unit (24) for receiving a reflected distance measuring light (27), a distance measuring unit (22) for performing a distance measurement based on a signal from said light receiving unit, an angle measuring unit (17) for performing an angle measurement based on a detection result of a directional angle detector (13, 14) which detects an emitting direction of said distance measuring light, a telescope unit (9) which includes said light source unit, said light receiving unit, and said distance measuring unit and is capable of rotating in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, a rotation driving unit (5, 12) for rotating said telescope unit, said directional angle detector for detecting a directional angle of the pulsed laser, and a control arithmetic unit (16) for rotatably irradiating the pulsed laser in a necessary range and for preparing three-dimensional point cloud data based on a distance measurement result and a detection result of the directional angle for each pulsed laser, wherein said light source unit is designed as an MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) type laser light source and has an oscillator control circuit (31), a main oscillator (32), and an optical amplifier (33), wherein said oscillator control circuit has a repetition frequency setting component (38), a pulse peak output setting component (39) and a pulse width setting component (40) characterised in that said oscillator control circuit has an amplification factor calculating component (42) and oscillates said main oscillator by a repetition frequency, a pulse peak output, and a pulse width corresponding to a distance to be measured, and wherein said amplification factor calculating component calculates an amplification factor based on the repetition frequency, the pulse peak output, and the pulse width and amplifies said optical amplifier based on a calculated amplification factor. The laser scanner according to claim 1, wherein said optical amplifier (33) has a plurality of sub-optical amplifiers (33a, 33b, 33c) and amplifies an optical pulse outputted from said main oscillator (32) in a plurality of stages. The laser scanner according to claim 1, wherein said optical amplifier (33) includes a rare earth-added optical fiber (46a, 46b) as an optical amplifying element. The laser scanner according to claim 1, wherein said optical amplifier (33) includes a laser crystal (52, 54) as an optical amplifying element. The laser scanner according to claim 1, wherein said oscillator control circuit (31) comprises a measurement mode setting component (37) for setting a measurement mode corresponding to a distance, said oscillator control circuit oscillates said main oscillator (32) by the repetition frequency, the pulse peak output, and the pulse width corresponding to a set measurement mode and amplifies said optical amplifier (33) by the amplification factor corresponding to the set measurement mode. |
