Abstract | The paper deals with fructifications of glossopterids (viz. Gonophylloides sp., Scutum sp., Ottokaria sp., & Bokarospermum gen. nov.), seeds (Cordaicarpus), bracts, and calamitalean axes found in a detached condition from the Barakar Formation of the Karanpura and Bokaro Group of coalfield. Vertebraria axes were also observed from the Rikba plant bed of North Karanpura Coalfield. These mentioned taxa are only a small part of an extensive and significant flora of Karanpura and Bokaro Group of coalfields. |
