Description | On a large sheet the life of the young Krishna is depicted in various tableaux, some of which are bordered by a white border, with texts at the various stages. The scene is framed by a narrow yellow border with an ornamental tendril motif in black and red, in red framing lines, surrounded by a wide orange border with black and white framing lines. On the right edge and bottom right are texts in the Devanagari script, in white, some in red and black. On the back is the text from the Bhagavata Purana book 10.10.23-43 and 11.1-9. |
