On the first page, beginning at the upper left and moving from top to bottom are: "Rufian Tamarindo", or Rufino Tamayo, holding a palette and brush; art dealer Antonio Souza, identified as "Tono;" "Mathias," Mathias Goertz, the recipient of the letter, dressed in a striped suit; a heavyset man with a mustache and checkered shirt named "P. Coronel," whom is Pedro Coronel, the printer. On the right side of the page from top to bottom are: artist David Alfaro Siqueiros with the body of a bird, art critic Ceferino Palencia referred to as "Don Cefe;" and Anguiano labelled "Anguiano" (possibly a painter) who points at a canvas labeled, "Maternidad." |
