Description | Broadside shows a statue of Our Lady of Saint John of the Lakes. There are two cherubs above the image holding a scroll with Latin writing which reads "Immaculate mother pray for us." This image of Our Lady has her wearing a triangular dress with a crescent moon at her feet. The text on the verso conveys the story of José F. Luna who was dying of typhoid fever and because of his wife's prayers to Our Lady his life was spared. A prayer to Our Lady is printed on the verso. |
