Description | Broadside shows a boy placing a wreath on a grave. The text, in verse, speaks of all the misfortune befalling any orphan, from lack of love and tenderness to being out on the street homeless. There is also a poem on the verso titled "Maternal love." This broadside is similar to PGA - Vanegas, no. 47, except 47 is printed on natural ground wood paper and dated 1910. It also has different borders and headline fonts. |
