The script of the ballad centers around the heated campaign for a suppossedly free and democratic presidential and vice-presidential election in 1910. The players involved include General Bernardo Reyes and Ramón Corral (for the vice-presidency) and Porfirio Díaz and Francisco I. Madero (for the presidency). The verso of this broadsheet contains five short love poems. |
