NDLI: The Arch of Cosmos and Damian, created by Carl A. Reed in 1994, at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Saints Cosmas and Damian were brothers, born in Arabia, who had become eminent for their skill in the science of medicine. They are the patron saints of doctors, dentists, surgeons and pharmacists
