Edsal [i.e. Edsel] Ford, President of the Ford Motor Co., faced a battery of cameramen as he took the stand today before the Monopoly Committee. He told of early efforts of the Ford Motor Co. to maintain a patent monopoly, success of which would have destroyed the company in its first year of operation
