NDLI: Memorial to Army and Navy Nurses. Washington, D.C., Nov. 8. A memorial was unveiled today at Arlington Cemetery dedicated to the memory of Army and Navy Nurses. The 11 foot tall monument was designed by Frances Rich, daughter of Irene Rich, famous movie actress, a nurse from the Army side, left and a nurse from the Navy side are shown placing a wreath just after the unveiling, 11/8/38
