NDLI: Invites president to New Rochelle for 250th Anniversary. Washington, D.C., May 16. Rep. Ralph Gambel of New York, (left) and Walter G.O. Otto, former mayor, today invited President Roosevelt to attend the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of New Rochelle, N.Y. by the Hugenots. The celebration is planned for June 12, 18.
