NDLI: New Assistant General Counsel of Treasury. Washington, D.C., Sept. 20. John Philip Wenchel was today named Assistant General Counsel for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, S쳮ding Morrison Shafroth, resigned. A graduate of the University of Maryland in 1908, Wenchel practiced law in Baltimore until 1914 when he entered the Government Service. 9/20/37
