NDLI: Shearing goats on ranch in Kimble County, Texas. This is a gang of Mexicans who travel through the goat and sheep country to do the shearing. They were paid seven cents per goat and each man can shear from one hundred to one hundred and fifty goats a day. Power for shearing is furnished by old automobile converted to this purpose.
