NDLI: Tank manufacture (Chrysler). At the completion of their seventy-five mile test run, each Chrysler M-3 tank is checked by government inspectors. The testing is designed to bring out any possible flaw in construction and is conducted on a large proving ground just outside the huge Chrysler tank arsenal in Detroit
