NDLI: Production. Fifty-foot steel ramp boats. A new fifty-foot steel ramp boat, ready for launching, is rolled off the production line of a Southern boatyard. This boat will be used in making beach landings of men, tanks and other equipment on hostile shores. The yard is also making torpedo boats, smaller wooden ramp boats and other Navy craft
