NDLI: Production. Motor torpedo boats (wooden). Prefabricated frame sections of a new seventy-eight-foot wooden torpedo boat are joined to the keel at a Southern shipyard. Many speedy motor-driven fighters of this class are built here indoors, of ready-made sections. The completed hulls are then moved to nearby water for launching and fitting. Higgins Industries
