NDLI: Conversion. Toy furniture to dies for incendiary bombs. This small Midwest machine shop used to manufacture doll's furniture and fly swatters before Pearl Harbor. Subcontracts on defense orders now occupy all machines as rapidly as the old stock can be assembled. Here two high school boys complete machine work on metal legs for the furniture.
