DRWG/MA, no. 267a (front) shows butterfly, apparently flying, with long tail ending in arrowhead point; no. 267a (back) shows butterfly bent forward, short tail with arrowhead point, and three pentimenti of long squiggly tail covered over with white. (DRWG/MA, no. 267b is a small-size reproduction on its own sheet). DRWG/MA, no. 268 shows standing butterfly with reproduction of slightly different butterfly pasted onto the same sheet.
